What materials do I need for the workshops?

We provide all the materials you need for the workshops, including clay, tools, and glazes. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity and your favourite Apron! 

Are the workshops suitable for beginners?

Yes, our workshops are suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced ceramic artists.For beginners Kira provides a structured class where you learn the basics while making projects that include functional and sculptural items. You'll also learn how to glaze ypur work for that professional gallery look . For the more experienced Ceramicist Kira will work along side you guiding you through your own project idea from conception to final piece 

Can I bring my own project idea to the workshops?

For beginners after the initial tutorials you will of course be invited to bring your own project ideas to the table and encouraged to explore in clay

for those with more experience bringing your concepts and vision will be imperative and Kira will guide you towards a sound structure that will be returned to you in one piece ! 

When do I get my work back

For beginners all work is returned on the last day of class . 
Advanced Class Glaze on the last day and work is returned with two weeks.

Pottery Wheel Classes & Summer Workshops   

My Pottery Wheel Private 6 week courses are ongoing throughout the year so please feel free to contact me for more details . Summer half day Workshops will begin 31st of May and limited spaces are available.These classes will take place in my Studio above The Blackwater Valley Makers Gallery Fermoy Cork .A non refundable booking deposit must be paid to secure your place .I accept cash or revolute for final payment before class starts 

Six week night and afternoon classes will resume in September  in Carrigaline Community Complex
